I don't know about teachers, but Mr Belding the principal from Saved by the Bell got a standing ovation when he was introduced as a guest judge for the Soring Sing when I was in college at UCLA. We were on our feet.
Hard to tell if he was a great teacher but Mr. Hand didn’t give up on Spicoli in FTaRH. Of course that could have been so he didn't have to teach him again :-)

I object to the "most overrated" question -- because why try and undermine ANY positive public vibes for any teacher anywhere? Bravo to any teacher that does well enough to get people to notice. Although, I was tempted to answer with Zelensky's teacher character on "Servant of the People", since maybe you are overrated if people love you so much that they elect you to run your country LOL.
